Answer: Basic transport can be as little as $1,000 for a home fully prepped, within our operating area, and traveling less than 50 miles. However, we do much more than just move the home.
A full single-wide project within our operating area will start around $6,500, including disconnects, lot clean up, home prep (hang axles, wheels, tongues, permits, etc), transport, and reinstallation (block, level, and strap the home). When adding in land grading, pad build, concrete footers and utility reconnects which are all necessary, costs can go as high as $12,000.
Double wides take more than twice the work as we must also consider removing trim inside the home, removing siding, removing the roof ridge cap, removing the lag bolts around the perimeter of the mating walls, and then plastic wrapping the home's opening. That's just the additional work before it can be transported. Reconnecting the home has the same steps in reverse. Because of this additional work, double-wides start around $16,500. However, the client can complete some of this work for some savings. | Good Liffe Home Transport, LLC | Answer: The Cost typically depends on the location, the terrain, size of home, distance to transport and if there are any room addition or trees that need to be cut.
